My Paperback Post journey began in 2022 when my husband, Nik encouraged me to finally pursue my artistic dream. I was deeply feeling the lack of community and connection in the post pandemic world and was struggling to find my own purpose.

I was always known for hand making cards for my family and friends, something I’d been doing since I was a kid. And so I launched Torly Creative Co, a handmade greeting card shop.

The joy that a simple handwritten note can bring has never been lost on me, and I wanted to encourage others to stay connected and bring back that sense of community.

I didn’t fully know what I wanted this business to be, but I knew it needed to happen.

Throughout this journey, I’ve continued seeking that sense of community and the direction for this brand.

Through the support and encouragement of this incredible community, I’ve landed right where I need to be. I found my way back to two things I love most - reading and art, and in that, I’ve finally found my community.

Nik and I find so much joy in creating together and you'll find pieces of us both - from my drawings to Nik's creative ideas - in all of our hand drawn, original designs featured on our apparel and stationery. Everything in our shop is 100% original and handmade by us!
